Trailhead: Parking lot by the Spray River bridge

This summer only scramble is an easy one but a really strenuous hike up the mountain. The last section at the top in the loose scree is particularly tiring. The route is easy to follow but errors can be lead to misadventure. Make sure to do this scramble only once the route is clear of snow. Please consult the scrambler's guide to Mount Rundle and visit the Parks Canada information centres in Banff before heading out.

Season: Mid-June to mid-October
